Lilly Blooms on Home Soil!
Simon Lilly equalled the course record on the way to lifting the Glazerite Trophy - the second round in the PGA Midlands Order of Merit.
His record matching eight under par 64 handed him a three stroke lead at the halfway stage and he kept his nerve to claim top prize after 36 holes.
Simon didn't drop a shot during his morning round and kept that unblemished record in tact during the afternoon, bagging his tenth birdie on the final hole.
Simon's 10 under par total was too much for the rest of the field. Well done Simon!
The Glazerite Pro-am held the day before was won by former Ryder Cup player Paul Broadhurst, Glenn Harris, Jon Harris & Peter Clarke on 18 under par.
